Title: Store Keeper

Division / Department: Accounting/Catering Operations

Organizational Relationships:

Reports to: Accounting Manager

Responsible for: Store Keeping

Liaises with: Accounts Department, Purchase Department & Location Manager.

Job Summary:

Handling Stores inventory – receiving & issuance of goods; Preparing purchase requests, Forwarding requests to Purchase department with due approval; Maintaining stock for smooth operation; Monitoring the stock movements; Preparing KPIs & Follow up with requests.

Duties and Responsibilities includes though not limited to:

· 1. Preparing purchase requests for regular supplies

· 2. Forwarding the purchase requests with Location Manager’s Approval to Purchase Department.

· 3. Receiving goods as per the specifications mentioned in the purchase requests.

· 4. Prepare Daily Receiving Report mentioning the details of goods received as per the invoice / delivery note provided by the supplier.

· 5. Preparation of NEC & KPI to indicate the discrepancies in supplying of goods or in the supplier’s invoice.

· 6. All cash purchases to be entered in the inventory and consumption and the bill to be acknowledged by storekeeper.

· 7. Forwarding the invoices to Accounting Department attached with copy of approved purchase request and NEC, if any on weekly basis. During the month end, the invoices should Accounting Department on the first day of the following month.

· 8. Storing the goods in the designated places and in compliance with food & safety procedures.

· 9. Issue the goods as per the request from various departments approved by the Location Manager.

· 10. Update the inventory log at regular intervals.

· 11. Maintaining minimum and maximum stock level for smooth running of the operation.

· 12. Submission of weekly & monthly reports – monthly purchases, consumption (category wise & department wise) and month-end inventory, inter-unit transfers and summary of back charges on the first day of the following month. All reports must be in soft copy as well as hard copy.

· 13. Adhoc reports required, if any.

· 14. Reporting to Accounting Manager functionally and to the Location Manager for the operational activities.

· 15. Follow, imply and maintain all ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2005, ISO 14001:2015 & OHSAS 18001:2007 standards and requirements as informed/implemented by the management.

OHSAS Job Responsibilities

· To ensure a very high standard of food hygiene and personal hygiene in working area at all times as per the guidelines required by Abu Dhabi and Dubai Municipality.

· To discuss and organize practical implementation of ideas.

· Participate in the quality initiatives program of the organization.

· Cooperate and comply with EGCL in regards to OSH instructions and safe working procedures.

· Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves, environment and others at work.

· Do not adversely interfere with anything provided for OSH.

· Do not interfere adversely with anything in place to control OHS risks.

· Cooperate with organization with respect to actions and or actions taken to protect the employee/ OSH requirements.

· Follow OSHMS procedures as applicable.

· Raise identified OSH issues with designated persons and take part in OSH consultative arrangements.

· Report near miss/hazard/incidents.

· Use appropriate PPE and safety systems.

· Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.

· Attend OSH training as required by the training needs analysis.

· Maintain OSHMS and other documents and records as applicable to the department

· Performs other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Competencies :

Ø Education

Degree / Diploma in Commerce

Computer literacy (should be well versed in using spread sheet, database, presentation etc.)

Ø Experience

2-3 years of Storekeeping experience

Ø Skills

Accountancy practices

Communication in English

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
